Facing the Future: Cultivating Climate Empowerment Amidst the Climate-Crisis
Troubled by the uncertain world ahead? Concerned for future generations because of the climate-crisis? Then this webinar is for you! This experiential webinar will allow participants to learn and practice long-term visioning and reflection to cultivate hope despite uncertainty.
Without a sense of a better future, it can be difficult to make decisions in the present. The climate-crisis impacts mental health and career decision-making, leading to feelings of hopelessness and uncertainty. By exploring an intergenerational worldview, we can both identify hopes for a distant future and tangibles steps in the present to transition towards a more equitable world
Learn about the benefits of seeing career decisions in the context of an intergenerational worldview and how this approach fosters hope for the future and empowers us in the present.
Participants will:
- Practice exercises to cultivate hope in the world ahead.
- Envision and identify subsequent steps towards this future
- Explore how mental health and ecological change impacts career decision-making
- Learn about career development resources to help navigate life on a changing planet.
